I only used it on 38 bales. At some point one of the short bars appeared bent, upon closer inspection I found that the metal that fits over the bucket lip had actually twisted, causing the short bar to point downward. I was only lifting 4 x 5 bales. Evidently this product needs to use heavier gauge steel.
