You know what it looks like when an amateur has caulked a bathtub, well then you can imagine what the welds on this debris fork look like. To make matters worse, the tines don't align because the sleeves were not aligned when they were welded into the frame. Will it work, probably so, but sometimes you just want to feel like all that money you spent got you a product that was well built by someone who takes pride in their workmanship. I am not really sure you wouldn't be better off buying on of the cheap Chinese alternatives that probably work just as well and probably don't look any worse.
Could not be happier, turned my daunting task of scooping up old hay and manure into a simple easy task. Have also used it to move brush and wood around the property.
Had a tough shipping experience (forks were separated from the main unit and delivered later - also unit wasn't protected in shipping and got lots of paint scraped off down to the metal, Neat farms gave $20 for paint). But even with all that, this tool is invaluable on our farm now, we can move large manure + branch piles with ease. Save your back and buy this tool.
Just got these. Construction is heavy duty. The spikes are tapered and fluted for strength. The chain is heavy duty and the frame is solid. Weights in close to 200lbs fully assembled. I received the spikes and frame in different shipments.
notfor manure......more for lifting hardwood logs to a comfortable height - no more kneeling to cut firewood. impression is that these are very ruggedly built. assembled without any issues. easy and quick even for an old timer. lifted and carried a few medium logs without any effort. today I had two 12' x 18" red oaks that I dragged out with my winch. lifted one and Kioti 4210 knew it had hold of a big load. a slow ride to the landing was all I risked. 3400 lb load. piece of cake.
