49" Bucket Hay Spear Attachment

Spears were delivered right away, but the frame was lost by Fed-Ex Neat Farms helped find them. Once delivered, I set them up on my 50hp tractor bucket in less than 10 minutes with only a crescent wrench. It would be nice if there were basic instructions in the box, but it was simple to figure out.

Great bale spear to add on to your tractor bucket. Works great with our Kubota L3710 tractor. Easy to attach and remove. Had to ask about the two pins that go into the binding bars, they are bigger than the holes so you have to hammer them in. Great quality attachment at a reasonable price.

I am happy that my bale spear is working for me. It seems to make a solid attachment and I'm glad it uses 2 chains. I attached the bale spear to my John Deer 410 front bucket of my back ho. I was not in a hurry and that was good because two packages came several days apart! I am happy but if this had a smaller single spear between the 2 big spears then it would be perfect. Or...move the 2 spears just 3 inches together. Thank You !

I should have bought this years ago. Well made, sturdy, easy to attach. We attached it to the back hoe. It sure makes moving bales a breeze. No more having to bring the tractor in. I put it to use the day after it was delivered. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing a spear. I like that it has double chains. I have seen some with just a single chain. Awesome attachment.

Forget shooting pool with a noodle. Single bolt attached spears suck. $300 bucks and they break over time. Neat's spears locks in becoming part of the bucket allowing left right and up and down pressure. Attaching is easy. I do wish the smaller spikes came with pins. Why include spikes you can't use out of the box? No matter, it's awesome. Buy one now and forget Tractor Supply. Thanks Neat. Great product.

The bale spear arrived in good shape and was easy to assemble and install on the tractor bucket. I moved my first bale with it and it worked great! The bales that I'm feeding run around 1800 Lbs. I'm using it with a Case 970 on a Koyker K5 loader. The quality is obvious when you see how heavily it is built and it not only works well for bales but I also found that it works well in conjunction with the bucket for moving the pile of cedar trees that we had accumulated in the pasture.

Very well and STURDY excellent welds all round. My spears came in black. One point being the two (2) small feet inside bucket were tapped for 3/4" coarse thread bolts, which were not included.Upon calling customer service these bolts are not included if you order the turnbuckle type attachment. Was told not use the bolts at all if you have the turnbuckle type. Use the bolts only for a one time lift.? These bolts proved very handy they help hold, and cinch then use the turnbukles

This piece of equipment is well built and does a great job for me. I would have rated it a 5, but it was shipped with chains too short to wrap around my Case 580 backhoe bucket. I assume the spear attachment is meant for little smaller farm tractor buckets. Anyway after putting additional pieces of chains and some bolts, I'm happy and much safer than I was with my pallet forks.
