I was skeptical about whether this drag would do the job and be worth the money— it has definitely changed my mind! I have used it daily for the last 2 weeks and it works great! I have dragged about 10 acres with this thing and even though it’s small it’s mighty. I used my golf cart to drag the horse pasture for cleanup and reseeding, my yard for stick cleanup, and even on an old trash dump. I have to flip it over to clean out the sticks and leaves but that’s no issue.
I put the drag to work yesterday. It's a nice heavy well put together piece of equipment that will last a long time. It came a day early and was packaged to travel well. The service and communication was great. My only complaint was the multi small strand wire used to tie the equipment together for shipment. Why not use a larger gauge strand of wire and make easier to unwind or cut? Thanks for producing a great product!
Used the drag chain this week for the first time. It is nicely made and does a good job of opening up the soil to accept grass seed. The size is very manageable, easy to maneuver.
I had used 6 ft drag harrow previously and found it difficult to navigate around and through trees on my property. This one performs much better than I had expected. It really does a excellent job. Very well made and will likely out last me. I use it behind my JD X758. I would not hesitate to purchase this one if it fits your needs.
I bought this drag harrow for grading trails in our woods. This harrow works very well. It pulls up all grass, weeds, sticks and some small roots. Without putting some weight on it, you have to go over the trail a few times. After you rake the pulled up items away, you can run the drag over it more times and turn the path into dirt. This drag is built very heavy duty. I used this maybe 4 times now and only wore some paint off it !! Very impressed with this drag. Use it for maintaining trails.
Very nice product at a great price. It was exactly as represented on the web site with very speedy delivery at no charge. It doesn't get any better than this.
It was perfect in every way. It's just what we needed to drag the pasture on our 5-acre, 3 horse mini farm. The price fit perfectly in our budget. I placed the order in the morning, it was shipped that afternoon and we received it 2 days later. My husband uses it every chance he gets. We refer to it as the redneck Zamboni.
Product arrived quickly. Was dramatically more "heavy duty" than anticipated. Worked perfectly for our application of prepping prairie for seeding and then for covering seeds. Pulled with a John Deere 310. Very pleased with this product. May require 2 people to move and situate.
We bought this harrow to clean up a 5 acre pasture. I needed one that I could actually lift and that could be attached to our zero turn if needed. We are very happy with the performance.
This thing rocks.. I can drag it around with my small lawn tractor or my Zero Turn Mower. I bought it to spread the manure around the 2 Acre pasture. There are 3 "settings" Aggressive, less Aggressive and Smooth. I found the that using the most aggressive side is too much for breaking up poop piles. The Less aggressive smears and breaks it up perfectly. The aggressive angle is great for aerating the paddock and pulling up packed vegetation. My Paddock looks like a golf course. :)
Incredible quick shipment, product exactly as ordered, is perfect for working my 3 acre pasture to the benefit of both my horses and my reduced labor load. PF
I wanted to buy some chain link for a drag but it only came in rolls. That would have been cheaper but I think would not be as versatile as this. It Worked great around my house and my .4 mile drive in rearranging and smoothing out the gravel. I really put on a show after a severe rain storm when the gravel had been pushed aside by a lot of water and left litte gravel free gullys. It took me no time at all to repair with this tool. However, you really need a 3 pt connected frame of some sort over it. I ended up buying a King Kutter boom and with the addition of some 1/2 pipe to stiffen each end, I chained the harrow to the boom - this works fine but there are original equipment setups that would work even though they will cost more than just the harrow. Also, I think 4 feet is not enough - have now purchased an additoinal 4 feet and will try that Without a frame you end up draggin in areas you don't want to drag and making wide turns when you would like to stop and turn around. The frame mounted to the 3 pt elimnates the problem.
Absolutely thrilled with harrow! Better than expected. Just used to pull out sage brush & works great and great price too. Perfect transaction and quick ship. Thanks
