My first bale spear I purchased was from another company. It was more expensive and was supposed to be heavier built. It lasted about 3 years and I had to rebuild it 4 times! I finally found a heavy duty frame only option as I already had replaced the cheap spears my old one had that were bent with heavy duty spears. This thing is well built and is heavy duty!! I wish I would have found this one before I bought the other one!!!
